Extreme Temperatures and Car Batteries

When it comes to car batteries, there are plenty of factors that influence how long a battery is going to last. One of the factors is the temperature that the battery is exposed to. If a battery is exposed to any extreme in temperature, then it is going to be in danger.

One of the common issues when it comes to car batteries is that they go dead in the winter and the summer. One of the reasons is that extreme temperatures do things to the battery such as evaporate the electrolytes and other things. This is one of the reasons that it is important to check the battery and make sure that it is not out in any extreme temperature.

One of the factors is that starting a car requires a lot of amperage from the battery. Therefore, the battery has to be able to crank a lot of power during the cold.
